This only works when we support our local farmers and ranchers

Meet our amazing farmers, ranchers, & producers:

  • Belafonte Farm

Dennis, the founder and operator of Belafonte Farm, left a career in mechanical engineering to pursue a deeper connection with nature through farming, after years of traveling the world by trail, sea, and city.

Belafonte Farm isn’t just about growing food—it’s Dennis’s way of rebuilding our relationship with the land, using thoughtful, regenerative practices to produce something truly grounded and meaningful.

  • Folks Farm & Seed

Born from the land we called the Folks’ place’—rooted in family, growing since 2019. Alex (Founder) and Ray (Wears many hats), believe food should be joyful, connective, and grown with intention.

Rooted in seed saving and community care, Folks Farm is a small, regenerative farm in Southwest Fort Collins growing nutrient-dense, organically raised food for CSA members, farmers markets, restaurants, and neighbors.

  • Morning Fresh Dairy

    Morning Fresh Dairy
Nestled in Pleasant Valley since 1894, our fifth-generation family farm has been bottling milk right here in Bellvue, Colorado for over a century. Our cows live just steps from where the milk is processed—no long hauls, no fuss. Just fresh, local milk from our family to yours in 24 hours or less.

We believe in taking good care—of our land, our cows, and our community.

  • Pig & plow bakery

    The Pig and the Plow
We bake because we love real food—and the people who grow, raise, and crave it. Since 2014, we’ve been connecting Northern Colorado to organic, locally sourced baked goods, slow meat education, and farmers worth knowing.

From sourdoughs made with heritage grains to sweets lightly sweetened with local honey, every bite reflects our belief in food as connection—between land, hands, and home.

Come for the bread. Stay for the mission.

  • Mountain View Meats

our generations, one ranch, and a whole lot of grit.

The Uthmann family has been raising cattle in Virginia Dale, Colorado, since 1903—long before “local” and “grassroots” were trends. Today, they manage every step from pasture to plate, combining old-school values with hands-on care. When the pandemic disrupted the food system, they pivoted, offering premium beef directly to their neighbors.

Faith, family, and feeding people well. That’s what drives Mountain View Meats.

  • Double Lutz Farm

Double Lutz Adaptive Farm is a diversified market garden at the Flores del Sol Natural Area in Fort Collins, part of the Northern Colorado Foodshed Project’s Farm Business Accelerator.

Lisa and Tristan grow open-pollinated and heirloom varieties using ecologically-minded practices rooted in conservation agriculture. Lisa, a seed enthusiast and garden writer, fell in love with adaptive seeds while apprenticing in Virginia. Tristan, raised on a ranch in Oregon, brings a PhD in Environmental Science and a passion for growing collards.

  • Ent Wise Farm

Ent Wise Farm is a first-year, first-generation farm in Fort Collins, run by John Forrest (he/they)—a soil-loving grower with big dreams and a deep passion for regenerative agriculture, herbalism, and community. John brings years of gardening experience and local ag work to this new chapter, with a vision to integrate trees, food, and medicine.
