Backed by years of community assessment and pilot projects, Familiar Foods is on a mission to support a robust local food economy in Northern Colorado. Despite rapid population growth, our local food economy faces barriers to growth such as rising land costs, limited market opportunities for farmers, and inequitable access to fresh, healthy foods for marginalized groups.
